Inclement Weather Policy for Worthington Christian Church

WCC classes & activities — in the event that the Worthington City Schools are canceled or dismissed early due to inclement weather, OR a Level 2 or 3 snow emergency is declared for Franklin or Delaware County, our regular classes and/or activities will be canceled.

Weekend worship services are rarely canceled — in the event that a Level 3 Snow Emergency is declared for Franklin and/or Delaware County our regular worship services will be canceled for the safety of our members and friends.

Snow Emergency Explanation

• Level 1 Snow Emergency: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are also icy; drive carefully.
• Level 2 Snow Emergency: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who believe it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways.
• Level 3 Snow Emergency: All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one else should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. Those traveling on the roadways may be subject to arrest.
