Missions Ministry

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

The Great Commission is quite plain in its instruction and intent. We, as Christians, are not to keep the blessing and joy of salvation to ourselves. We are not to keep our faith in secret. We are to share our hope and joy with those who have heard, but do not understand — or those who have never heard at all.

"Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear."
The purpose of the Missions Ministry at Worthington Christian Church is to help stretch the influence of Christ around the world — one life, one family at a time. We do this by supporting a variety of programs, educational outreaches, church plants, charities and relief services. Our mission is to not only reflect the love of Jesus to those in need, but to encourage our members to step out of their comfort zone and serve the Lord.
