We have a wide variety of service projects for you to participate in, but every project has a very limited amount of space available for particpants. If you see a project below that interests you we suggest that you register early. You may register at church (in the Atrium) on Sunday, September 4, 11 or 18.
You may also register online for a limit time (Tuesday through Friday) from September 6-9 and September 13-16. Questions? Please contact Don Hooper at .
Alley Project/McKendree Community Center
Day & Time: Saturday, Sept. 24 (9:00 - 3:00 PM)
Description: Working with those who come to the Community Center, improvements to the center could be on the docket as well.

Description: Two shifts will be trained to "run" the Free Store, help set up, clean, sort and restock the store. A team will also provide a meal for 75 shoppers. Some donations will be needed from team members. See full list on Sign Up Sunday.

Description: Group 1 & 2 will spend Saturday & Sunday organizing & boxing groceries. Group 3 will spend Sunday (2:30 PM) loading and unloading the truck with supplies (must be able to lift 40 lbs.)

Description: Both groups responsible for bringing and preparing breakfast for Columbus' downtown homeless; 100-200 people. Some interaction will be involved. Team members will need to provide some items.

Description: Help with various projects of stocking, cleaning, unloading deliveries, loading purchases, etc.

Description: Packing up peanut butter for Food Programs in Haiti and Honduras.

Pregnancy Decision Health Center

Description: Interior painting (4-5 rooms) of PDCH's administration building.
Skills: Could use several painters. Please bring brushes, rollers and pans. PDHC provides the paint.

Description: Serve dinner on Saturday at 6 PM (burgers and dogs for 50-60 people). There will be some items each participant will need to bring, see Amy on sign up day.

Worthington Food Pantry Work Day
