What is Realm?
"Realm is church administration, accounting, and community all in one." At least, that is how ACS Technologies, the company that developed Realm, describes it. In fact, you should check out their promotional video for it. Additional videos about Realm are available at the ACS Techologies website.

For the rest of us, Realm is where we can register for events, take class attendance, manage our profiles, view the church directory, make a contribution or tithe, post ideas, questions, prayer requests, etc. in our groups, view and track our current contribution statement, view the church calendar... Realm is Worthington Christian Church online.<

If you're looking for the Realm brochure, you can download it here or visit the webpage.
If you're still wondering what Realm is and why we use it, please read on. :)

Worthington Christian Church adopted Realm in August 2016. Since that time we have been encouraging our members & friends to register on Realm while educating our current Realm users how to make the most out of their account. This is a big task as Realm is continually being updated with new and improved features, but we will try our best to highlight some key points and answer any questions you have in the space below.

  • Realm is a cloud-based member website. It is optimized for use on your mobile devices and is almost entirely community driven. The Realm app, 'Connect,' is available for download from your app store (iTunes or Google Play).

  • With Realm, you will be able to make donations or register for events using your smart phone or tablet anywhere you have internet access.

  • Realm will allow you to manage your profile, register for events, give online, search the church directory and view the groups you are in.

  • In Realm, groups are given an extra layer of depth that will allow users to search for and view all groups available for them to join. Yu're also able to post messages and photos to the group(s) you are part of just like you would be able to do on Facebook.

This means that your Sunday morning Life Group can post prayer requests, organize a get-together (complete with requests for specific dishes of food to be brought), take and track attendance, send out messages, suggestions, notifications or reminders to your group — and only members of your group will see the messages.

  • You can set up automatic giving in Realm.

  • Creating an account in Realm is easy! As long as we have your full name, current email address and birthdate on file, account creation will be a snap. If we don't have that information, then you will need to contact us so we can update our records. Just contact today!

  • Realm invites go out to all WCC members who do not have a Realm account twice a year. If you didn't get an invite, just shoot us an and we will be happy to send it to you again. Remember to check your SPAM folder if you don't see the invite in your inbox (the email will be coming from realm@worthingtoncc.org). If you suspect we have an old email address on file for you, please with an update.

  • When you register for Realm, you will be asked for your full name, current email and date-of-birth. Because Realm is community-driven, we are required by federal law (specifically COPPA) to ensure that all Realm users are at least 13-years-old or older.

You can access Realm at onrealm.org/worthingtoncc
