The Young at Heart Ministries is a senior adult group that loves Christ and is committed to promoting fellowship in the church. We also want to create avenues for volunteering in the church and the community to promote physical and spiritual growth and comfort.

We welcome every age! The purpose of the Young at Heart is to plan activities for our seasoned citizens (and want-to-be's) here at Worthington Christian Church. Our event planning is set around three themes, spiritual, educational and entertainment and we diligently try to strike a balance between the three.
Sunday Mornings at 9:45 AM
- Good News (Average age 60+ — rm. 132)
- Open Book (Retirement Age — rm. 133)
- Encouragers (Married with children, all ages — rm. 135)
- Seekers (Married & Singles, all ages — rm. 137)
Linus Ministry
Project Linus is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization with a two-fold mission:
- to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets or afghans that are lovingly created by volunteer blanketeers.
- to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
