Come join us at moms — a Worthington Christian Church ministry to mothers! We provide encouragement, Biblical instruction, and Christian fellowship to mothers of young children as they strive to fulfill their responsibilities as wives, mothers, home managers and women. We meet monthly and provide instruction relating to womanhood, marriage, child rearing, and family relationships based on Biblical principles. The playgroups are designed to build friendships, have fun and enjoy our kids. We hope to create an atmosphere for women to develop friendship and be refreshed.
This year we are moving to a new day. We will be meeting on the second Friday of the month for our meetings and the fourth Friday of the month for playgroups. The time is the same: light brunch beginning at 9:30 AM with speaker following. After some time of small group discussion and fellowship, our meeting ends at 11:30 AM. Another change for the year is location. We will now be meeting in rm. 137 (off Atrium, near fireplace).
During our monthly meetings, childcare is provided at no charge. This year we are going to be adding more content for our little ones as well. A bible lesson, craft, music and snack will all take place within the loving care of our great volunteers. Your kids will love coming to moms as much as you do!
