Double Dog Dare-a-Thon
March 7 @ 8:00 PM - March 8 @ 12:00 PM EST
The WCCYouth Double Dog Dare-a-Thon is an outreach event with the goal to provide students the opportunity to invest in their friends who don’t attend church and invite them to Middle School Life Groups!
HOW IT WORKS:
Each Middle School student invites a friend (or group of friends) over to spend the night at his or her house—with parent permission, of course. At 8:00 PM the students will be texted with a “dare” to complete. Students are tasked to take a photo or video of their group completing the dare and send it back to the number that they received the dare from. Once the proof of the completed dare is sent, students will receive the next dare. This process continues until all dares are complete.
On Sunday, March 8, we will announce the winners and award prizes during the 11:00 AM Middle School Life Group time. Every student has a chance to win, but complete teams must be there to win. Trust us… it will be worth it!
WHAT DO THE STUDENTS NEED?
- All students MUST register online. Upon registration, you will need to provide a cell phone number where the dares can be sent. You also need to let us know where your group is being hosted and we need to know who is in your group.
- Shaving Cream. 🙂
- Post-it notes — and lots of them!
