She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.
Proverbs 31:25
The purpose of the Women’s Ministry at Worthington Christian Church is to encourage women to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and build meaningful friendships with one another.
We realize that every woman has different responsibilities in their day-to-day lives. Some work full- or part-time, some are busy stay-at-home moms, some are active retirees and some run their own businesses. With such a wide variety of schedules and responsibilities, the Women’s Ministry tries to offer Bible studies that are convenient for as many ladies as possible.

Women's Groups
Our studies are thought-provoking and pertinent to the issues, concerns and spiritual growth of new and seasoned Christian women.
Our Women’s Groups are generally offered three times a year (Fall, Winter and Spring) with a break over Christmas and during the summer. However, we have done email devotionals during the summer months.

Every Thought Captive
Ladies, are your thoughts leading you toward transformation or conformity? Are they building you up or tearing you down? Are they drawing you closer to God or pulling you away?
In our study, ’Every Thought Captive,’ you will explore a topic crucial to your spiritual growth: the battle for your mind.
In Romans 12:2, we read these words: “Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Just as molten glass is constantly shaped and molded by the thoughts we think, our lives are constantly shaped and molded by the thoughts we think.
This five-session journey will help you to actively and intentionally challenge your thoughts. This study isn’t about the power of positive thinking or about how you alone have the power to change your life. This study is about learning how God will transform your life as you learn to take every thought captive and submit them to the truth of His Word.
Join us and learn how God can transform our minds through the power of the Holy Spirit!

Reading Through Proverbs
beginning March 16
Have you ever closed your Bible and thought, “What did I just read?”
Beginning Monday, March 16, we are offering a new 11-day program that will provide more insight each day as you read through Proverbs. Tara-Leigh Cobble, founder of The Bible Recap reading plan on The Bible App, will share an in-depth explanation of what you read and how it fits into God’s story.
You can participate from the comfort of your own home on your own schedule! We will read Proverbs individually, but we will also have the opportunity to stay connected and encourage one another through a “Talk It Over” comment box within your group on The Bible app.
