Hunger Bowl
Every year on Super Bowl Sunday, we partner with Lifeline Christian Mission to pack over 100,000 meals to send to hungry, poverty-stricken children. We call this church-wide event, ‘Hunger Bowl.’
Our Goal
Our goal is to pack over 200,000 meals in five separate one hour sessions in the Youth Center on Sunday, February 8. To do this we need 160 volunteers per hour on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday!

What to expect
The work is fairly simple and easy, making it a great service opportunity for Elementary-age children, teenagers and/or adults. For a basic idea of what a meal pack looks like, be sure to check out this video!
Meal packing times are 8:00, 9:00, 10:30, 11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM. Our most popular meal pack times are 9:00 and 10:30 AM, so if you want to participate, please register early! Gloves and hairnets will be required and are provided.

Why do we do it?
Each meal packed will be shipped globally and/or locally by Lifeline Christian Mission to children and families affected by hunger and malnutrition.

Get Registered
Registration runs from December 24 to February 7
Registration is divided into five time slots — 8:00, 9:00, 10:30, 11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM. Each time slot is divided into stations, and each station needs 16 volunteers.
When you register, first select the time slot you want by clicking one of the buttons below, and then select which station you wish to join. There will be a drop-down menu for each time slot that lets you choose which station you want.
If the station you would like to register for is no longer an option in the drop-down menu, it is because that station is full.
