When Racism Gets in the Way

During our series you may have noticed that there is one very consistent trigger for what makes Jesus mad: people who claim to have a relationship with God who are keeping others from knowing God.

As we will see today, another trigger would be racism and prejudice -- or, to put it another way, the failure to recognize the image of God in one another.

Racism and prejudice have no place in God’s kingdom. Therefore, it has no place in this church or in your personal life if you call yourself a follower of Jesus.

To follow Jesus we must love all…that’s what we’ve been called to do.
