Jesus & David

One of the greatest truths in life is that people will let you down. In big ways or small ways, all of us will either be let down or let someone else down. That is one of the reasons why we need to be more gracious with people.

King David was a "man after God's own heart," but he still let people down. God promised that David's house and his kingdom would endure forever, but David was not THE man.

Jesus was. And Jesus will never let us down.

So how should we live each day knowing that Jesus will never let us down?

1. Limit the voices we allow to speak into us.
2. Trust that Jesus is there, even when we don’t feel him.
3. Demonstrate our trust in Jesus by giving our hearts to him.
