From This to That

SERIES OVERVIEW:

2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! When we give our lives over to Jesus, we experience radical transformation—it's more than just a change of circumstances; it’s a complete re-creation of who we are. In this sermon series, we will explore the depth of what it truly means to be changed in Christ. When we encounter Jesus, we are not simply improved; we are made new. From our thoughts and attitudes to our relationships and purpose, Jesus replaces the old with the new. He takes us from this to that.

This series will culminate on Easter with an emphasis on baptism.

Running from God

SERIES OVERVIEW:

We’ve all been in situations when we felt like Jonah and “ran from God.” Maybe it was running from a call or even a period of running from faith. In this series, we will study how Jonah ran from God and how his journey took twists and turns. It will challenge us to consider our own response to God’s plan, teach us about God’s grace, and inspire us to share God’s grace with others.

This series will continue to teach us about God’s grace and our call to share it with others.

Fulfilled: Jesus in Exodus

SERIES OVERVIEW:

After Jesus defeated death and rose from the grave, people still didn’t fully understand him as Messiah. When Jesus met with the men on the road to Emmaus, they knew the tomb was empty, but they still didn’t understand what it meant. Luke cites them, saying, “We were hoping that he was the one who was about to redeem.” To help them understand that he was the Messiah, Jesus had a Bible study with them (Luke 24:25-27, 32). We know that the whole narrative of the Old Testament points to Jesus, but Luke writes that Jesus started his Bible study with Moses.

This series will cover how Jesus is present in Exodus and fulfills God’s plan.
